The Debate Regarding Working Moms Rages On, But With A Twist

She chose her job over her kids. Lara Bazelon, a divorced mom of young children, a lawyer, a law professor and a writer published an op-ed in the New York Times this week about how prioritizing her work caused her to miss some of her young children’s birthdays, school events and quality time at home with the kids. Over 1,300 readers posted comments to the article revealing that the debate about working moms still rages on, but their remarks show how the discussion has changed from decades past.
